2016 Rear End Clunk

I had my ‘16 into the dealer right before the regular warranty expired for this clunk when shifting from forward to reverse. They flashed my transmission thinking it was not disengaging the converter appropriately...but I don’t think that was it.

I will post a video here, maybe I am overthinking but it’s pretty loud to me. Truck runs and drives perfectly, not a growl or vibration anywhere.

Can you put the truck on level ground and in neutral, chock wheels. And shake your drive shaft? Start by ruling out the U joints.

There is a fair amount of clunk in the transfer case it all adds up. I hear mine mostly when I let off the throttle then get back on it. My 05 and 12 with the manual transmission really clunked. I think unless your making metal in the rear gear lube you are ok.
