I had some concerns with my batteries and posted such as a previous topic. I had to replace my batteries recently and my only option was Oreillys AGM batteries.(road trip) I have no complaints about the batteries themselves but since installing, truck shows 13v. It will show 14v after start up but will fluctuate between 13 -14v for a few minutes before stabilizing at 13v. Guage does not fall below 13v. Is this normal? thanks

Your digital readout has no decimal point. Your 13 volt reading could easily be 13.9 volts. The only way to know for sure is to use a DVM at the battery.

x2 what comrade jhenderson said. a fully charged battery with truck off is approx 12.6 volts. i bought 2 napa batteries for my old 01 2500 ctd a month ago....had them on the trickle chatger for 2 days to bring them up to 12.6 volts...cheers!
