Anyone know how bad it would be to add power options to a stripped out 2018 1500 Tradesman?

Power locks, power windows.

Its a nice truck for the price, I did not check before we signed for it. Did not ever think it would be that stripped out. It is a work truck for sure but still sucks if the guys forget to lock it up one day.

I agree its most likely a lost cause to add it in, I know the power locks are most likey a easier added going aftermarket. I shipped the truck out back in Feb to a remote office or I would do it on the weekends piece meal.

Yeah, I just ordered another 1500 4 Door 6.4bed 6cyl with the power group, Also a 2500 with a 6.4bed 6.4l just have to read the fine print on the low end models. The only thing the new ones dont have are cloth seats like the manual everything 1500 has nothing but has a cloth seat.

I could have put a 6.7 in the 2500 as it will have a lift gate on the back, but I really cant justify all the extra $, and it might not be loaded enough to regen properly, lots of small trips under 50mph thru small towns most of its life.

I figure if I hire a motivated tech who wants to take on a project they can do the leg work. And add it in on that bbn one 1500.

Besides that they are pretty nice little work trucks for running around. Compared to what I drove coming up the ranks.

No harnesses was waiting on the new 1500 to see the differences, manual locks and cranks are here to stay, the new 1500 has the power locks and windows and key fobs.

The 2500 does have power windows and DL, but no key fobs.

So good luck with that, will see about getting some Key fobs for the 2500, always something with these trucks.
