2019 Baseball bat gear selector

Man, This thing is about 3" too long. I'm thinking about ordering one from the parts department and seeing what's needed to be done to shorten it up from the handle down. The 2018's shifter had some bends and offsets... The 2019's are straight as an arrow... Can't be that hard to cut it down while retaining the OEM handle. I popped off the end cap of my shifter but of course there's no nut or screw under it. We'll see and I'll keep this updated when it comes together.

Nope, Luckily they are straight so shortening it should be pretty easy.

I was actually referring to the attachment part of the gear shift lever...
