I am in the market for a Ram 3500 limited without the bed, so I can put a flatbed on it. Does the manufacture allow this?

I guess so as long as RAM still has the bed delete option when ordering a new one. 2 years ago that was possible, a friend ordered a 2500 single cab without bed.

The money you can recoup from the private sell of your bed will farrrrrrrrr outweigh the credit FCA will give you when clicking off the bed delete option.....

Get it with the bed then sell it on Craigslist when you take it off. To help resale value I suggest getting a truck with the standard bed and not the "Ram Box" bed. I don't think the Ram Box is too popular as you can't put a topper on it and it's kinda built like crap with painted plastic doors. When I ordered my 2019 I was dead set on "Sunroof delete" and "RamBox delete".

Thanks for the info, I have a Ram Box now and I love it, It keeps all the chains, straps and gear out of the bed. yes, you cannot us a shell but in all my Dodge/Ram pickups I like this one best, no leaky shells.
For 1500 bucks I might as well do it, no hassle with low baller DB. Does the bed delete have prep for a flatbed?

With bed delete you get a pair of lights, some stuff for the filler neck and other small stuff.
So i remember the friends truck arrived.

Is the Mega Cab an absolute requirement for you? Because now you can get a Limited C&C crew cab in 3500 SRW (Hemi only) or 35/45/5500 DRW, with the straight rails that will handle any aftermarket bed/body. Might be worth investigating.

Unless you plan commercial use, stay away from the C&C. It’s considered a true commercial truck, and depending on State DMV and insurance it can double and even triple your costs. Buy a regular pickup and remove bed, sell it how ever you can, even scraping it will save you money over a C&C registration and insurance.
