I did try to utilize search on this topic, see one on here recently with regards to a wheel swap--
Just want to see if this wheel swap will work with no leveling kit or suspension lift?

2004 Ram 3500 SRW has the 17" x 7.5" stock alloys with Michelin LTX AS 265/70R17

Fitment issues? Clearance or rubbing issues?
3.73 gearing issues? 48-RE shift point changes?

Many thanks for the sound advice on this topic!

Ooops, been researching dually wheels to much. 2019+ Duallies are now 8x200 like the Fords, SRW's are still 8x165.1.

Wheels fit with no issues, I have them on an 05. Downside is the backspacing is .25" more than the 3rd gen. 4th gen wheels are 6.5" backspace compare to 6.25 on 3rd gen. Moves the wheels in enough on really badly rutted asphalt it is always running on the slope. Can introduce some steering weirdness.

Thanks for the replies...looking at the 18"s as well--the 20"s I'm looking at are very nice, less than 500 miles on them...

This 18" Laramie Wheel is one of the better looking wheels in RAM stable.
