2020 Ram HD - 50 gal tank on CCLB

In the 2020 product info, FCA announced the Ram HD crew cab long beds will offer a 50 gallon tank, besting Ford by 2 gallons and Chevy/GMC by 14. Definitely something that is needed in this class by Ram, especially when towing something heavy or traveling through areas low on gas stations.

I’d like a bigger tank, but I also want to be able to reprogram the DTE.

I need to look at options with AlfaOBD a little closer.

One advantage to a chassis cab. I have the pickup though. I like a place to mount a spare tire since I go out boondocking a lot with my truck camper.

I would ASS-ume yes, just based on the fact that the Titan part number was the same as prior model years, but how FCA configures it might be a different ballgame.

No tanker here, just stock 31 gallon tank with 110 gallon aux tank in the bed.

Personally keep a 5 in my HUGE toolbox. Don't want to sacrifice all that nice storage. If anything I would do a 55g TITAN replacement tank.

The 50 gallon tank is indeed available on 2020 CCLB trucks... but it's not standard. The 50 gallon tank is a $295 option.

Besides the fitment question, it would be interesting to know what they are going to charge for the tank as a service part, whether the fuel pump swaps over, and if the straps are the same. It could end up making the Titan look like a bargain.
