Does anyone have any idea if 2022 alloy 2500/3500 wheels would fit a 1998 2500? It appears they still have the 8/6.5 bolt circle with a 121.3mm center bore. Main difference I see is the stud thread is 9/16 on the '98 vs 14mm on the '22, which shouldn't matter. I would have to use different lug nuts. The part I don't know is how the offset compares.
Right now I have 2001 16" stock alloy wheels on there. The problem is I had to have the outer lip of the brake drums turned down slightly many years ago so the wheels would fit over. Now I'm wanting to replace the drums and don't really want to have them machined (not easy to find someone to do it) again so I'm thinking about replacing the wheels instead.
