IDK.. But Im going down to the dealer on Friday to see what the current situation is, I heard 22' are closed and many options are "not available" so we'll see. I was thinking about ordering one, but not going to drop options to get a newer truck.

I don’t know if you can open this without being a member but here’s a link to the 2023 order guides for

My advice join the site, it’s a great forum like this one but focusing mostly on the 4.5gen platform.

Costco site is showing all the options, but the last time I talked to the dealer they said some were not available, and the RAM site seems to be out of date. I also dont see Costco showing invoice price anymore.

That's what I heard also, so I will confirm on Friday.. If I cannot order my same trim/feature and simply trade the extra unnecessary holes in the roof (sunroof / cab lights :D) for the 50g tank and air ride, then I will just fix mine and move on.

Again going back May was able to order pretty much anything, of course stuff like the Vinyl seats and Rubber Floor are not available in the trim class, so stuff like that yeah are not available unless you have like a level 12 person who knows a guy.

I think AH64ID probably had more issues and he had his order down pat, and hit all the right keys at the right time. That was a really great package he put together. That thing is killer options.

Fully understand no compromise and get what you want, your paying for it.

You should built out what you want and get the web link or print it out and bring it with you, it can get confusing at times between this group and that group. Change one it removes something else. So triple check and have some level of the must haves on the list.

Overall enjoy the process. It's fun building one for sure.

Just ordered a 2023 HO. All options I needed were available. Dealer gave me a Costco "discount". They said no change to engine/transmission. Said 6-9 months to build and deliver - maybe sooner. I never thought I would be a 4th gen'er. I despise the new emissions and DEF systems. I am old and old school, but needed higher towing capacity and a warranty. So here I am.

Major changes for ‘23 are the towing mirrors and available 12” dash screen. Otherwise not much has changed over the ‘22. Zero powertrain changes.

Ram has long build times and funky ordering availability, but at least you get what you order… eventually.

You’ll love it. DEF isn’t a bad thing, it makes the emissions system much better on the engine.

Talked with my dealer last week about ordering a 2023. With the uncertain build times, unknown price, unknown trade value and unknown diesel prices, I decided to stick with my '18.

As has been stated, I also confirmed all options are available to order, prices have gone up significantly on everything and the more options / higher trim levels will make the build time longer.

I also am not sure I can be without a truck for 9 months so unless things go south, I will also likely stay put for now and lament dealing with that sunroof.......

It is informative to hear other people discuss their reasons for a truck purchase. Lots of factors right now. I can not help but think the new trucks will only get more expensive.

IMHO, at least RAM finally got it right with the 2021+ year models. 1997.5 was the last year of simplicity, power, and reliability. I am not sure I will sell my 1996. It is becoming a relic of the past, but it is extremely reliable. An heirloom for the grandkids.
