20th Annual May Madness, 2014

It was great to see all our old friends and make some new ones as well. Thanks to all who helped out, the speakers,vendors and everyone who attended, as always the seminars were informative.

It was great to see everyone again! I had a blast and finally got home at 8am Monday morning just in time to sit in traffic to head into the office :-( If any of you are on Facebook let me know as I have the albums of pictures there and currently am working to have a OneDrive link for people to copy from. Thank you to EVERYONE who made this event possible; for those who did not attend you cannot imagine the amount of work that goes into making these events happen. We had a great turn out for the Ram Roundup, hopefully next year we can double the amount of trucks

I wouldn't bank on anything electronic getting more accessible- Stan and Noeme had to jump through hoops to do their tricks, logging each keystroke along the way for anti-lawsuit concerns. Don't think us button killers will ever get a leg up on that! Sure had a good time talking to you and Zane... He did make it back in one piece, and breathing? <G> You guys need to fly next year... in the air, I mean. Hope to see you folks again.

Greg, we made it in in time for lunch.... I got on a tractor to start cutting hay, and Zaner took off to get a trailer ready to haul horses for a neighbor.... He got to bash on a new 2014 Cheby... he drove it three weeks ago, averaging 8.6mpg, and the check engine light came on twice.... They neighbors took it to the dealer, had them reflash it, tipped the tech $100 to "make it run good", and gave it back to Zane... he averaged 12.2 this week, and the check engine light only came one once. The average mph was 64 on the first run, 78 on the second... they made some improvements. Sadly, he made the same trip two months ago in his '96, and saw 14.1mpg, but his mph average was a "bit" higher......

Yeah, the technology just won't stop coming.... it'll stop working, but it won't stop coming.... :{

Lot's of good looking trucks there....The red '96 3500 4x4 and the black '99? 2500 were the ones I liked....

Everyone likes Blair's red 1996. Mine looks a lot better with the Edge Insight telling me about all those sensors. It would take more than $100 to make a chubby run good, like a Cummins transplant...

I would like to thank all those who were involved in putting on this years May Madness. I had a wonderful time!!! As far as I can tell, the last one I attended was 2010, only because of work and family issues that did not allow me to attend.
This year, I learned a lot about the new trucks & engines through the many seminars & gatherings in the campground. It seems that there are a lot of robust changes that have been made to the new trucks and it is very tempting to look into a new truck. I really enjoyed learning about the new Dodge/Rams/Cummins.
Once again, thank you for providing us with a 24 hour a day, fun event. My time at May Madness was very sell spent!!!

I have typed up the contact information we asked you to add to the spreadsheet this year. I also found some contacts, which were listed last year. I added them to the new list. If you contact me, I will try and get you the information you are looking for. I want to thank all the folks who were such a great help to us making this MM a success. Special thanks to Larry and Denise who even helped as they had to return to Maryland before the event even started. I would email them flyers and stuff, they would edit it, then send it back to me. All this was done as they were traveling along the road.
