12 valvers,

Avoid the 275 HP Marine injectors.

"The spray angle is incorrect (too wide) and the ones I tried gave a sag in
power in the torque region of 1500-1900 rpm".

This is a tip from a well known & very knowledgable TDR member #ad

I am very interested in these 275 marine injestors. What part number are they and how do you know spray was too wide? I have a good guess what was wrong because i have been there done that. thanks

The midrange sag or sputter (if they cause it), isn't caused by the "spray pattern", but by incompatibilties in the nozzle/valve operation and the pump plungers/injection lines/delivery valves.

However, if the 275HP marine injectors are the ones I suspect they are, they are only 4 hole, and will probably smoke more than needed. If you only want to add 50-75 horsepower, I would not change to them, but stay with the 215HP parts. If, however, you're determined to go for the big numbers, then go for the 370HP Diamond "B" marine nozzles. They are difficult to find, and you have to have your pump modified to work with them, but, that's your ultimate horsepower setup.
