Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 215 injector opening pressure

Doea anybody know the opening pressure for a 215 injector while being pop tested... . I am doing mine with my tester and it doesn't read in bars, only psi. Thank you, Marc

A local pump shop sold me a set of remans that pop around 4200psi. I watched him test my old ones (worn out 370's) and asked to see a fresh one pop.



Maybe that'll help.

I think a set of 215's would normally be set between 250-260 bars. (3675-3822). I believe the larger injectors are sometimes set higher to help with atomization.
