I put new PDR 215 injectors, 181 DV's which were stock from my 215hp '97 pump, and cut the nose off the camplate, in my brothers '94 manual truck and it runs very well, probably a safe 75hp increase, very noticeable.

I put a set of 215 hp in my 97 with a 180 hp and could tell a big difference. I would say you would get about 30hp more.

I just did this to mine. Awsome difference but I also just did a huge repair under the hood as well. I've also just posted on one of the other recent threads this morning about fuel line size. When I did mine last week and increased from 160's to 215's, my mechanic said my fuel supply lines were too small for the fuel flow increased demand and created a vacuum. He said "94's and earlier used 3/8" fuel line. We changed mine out to 5/16" and my idle smoothed right out. Has anyone heard of this???

Its a cheap power upgrade though for sure!!

I had no problems dropping the 215s in with the 3/8 fuel line. 370s are a better bang for the buck and a down right steal when their on sale.

Am I understanding this correctly? Going to a smaller fuel line fixed your problem? 5/16" is smaller than 3/8".

Danny

My oops!!! yes the other way around!! Mt lines WERE 5/16" and we ripped them all out and fabricated new from 3/8"

Just a little dislexick and can't spell either

will the 215's roll the smoke when needed

Not really. They'll leave a decent cloud on take-off but thats about it. Oh and a small one if you have the TC locked up in an auto at about 50-55 mph and punch it.

Nathan

When you are talking about fuel line size... ... ... ..... remember the suction line in the tank is no more than 3/16 :( You can make 400hp on that stock 5/16 line.
