Cool! What do you get on the hwy? What's your transmission and gearing setup. I've been thinking of trying that on my Ramcharger or WarlockII. How's it drive?

It drives great. I like it alot. Im running the stock SM465 transmission with the stock 3. 07 gears. It is a little tall with the 35" tires so i may change the gears to 3. 73 or somthing like that. I have not done much highway driving yet but i think it will easly be in the 30 MPG range. Im still doing some pump tuning and some mods it gets better with each thing i do. I just put the intercooler in with an Aurora 2000 turbo. I think better flowing higher horse injectors will be next. The little 4BT moves the truck around great though. Im in Colorado and live right at the base of the foothills. She will pull a grade with easy and plenty of power to spare.

Looks great... . but diesels prices are killing us in California. This morning $4. 99. Might have to go back to driving a... ... ... ..... curses gas rig.

It came out of a bread van. I hear you on the diesel prices. It is just out right steeling for what they are charging. Hear in colorado it is 4. 50. My milage offsets it some but not enough.

That's awesome! You're making me wish I went that route with my '82 Ram pickup restoration. Where did you get the bell housing adapter to bolt the 465 to the cummins?

Where was it $4. 50, I paid $4. 659 CASH in Longmont yesterday morning!! Nice lil' Chevy!

Hill Petroleum

Got some there last week. Been filling up there off and on over the years and have had mixed results in the past. Presently, it sees to be the best fuel available in the West metro area. The price is below what Conoco charges and way below (and WAY BETTER) what Taggarts, on Mile 15 of H-119 charges. I have tried Hill's Bio Diesel with no headaches yet, it is priced ABOVE #2:mad:. I reckon that Hill has a corner on the PC fuel market for the time being. On 21 May, #2 was $4. 459/ gallon. GregH

I have been running the Bio too. Saterday. Fuel was like 4. 66 and i think the bio was like 4. 26. It is kinda strange some times the bio is more than #2 and some times not. On the friday of the holliday weekend that aternitive fuel island was swamped had a line in 2 directions.
