First of all my new name should be LOTS OF POWER FOR ME

As I said my bride took the truck for a week the day after I installed the uprate kit from TST and my gauges.

The EGT gauge was malfunctioning from the start, It would not stay at any temp very long even at a long steady speed on flat ground and now has finally quit reading at all. TST has asked me to send it back to them for replacement.

The boost gauge is working fine.

My bride absolutely loves the power, she was telling me how she passed this SUV up a hill and blew them away without even trying, and how she had to boot it to get across some lanes and it threw her back in the seat. But it did what she needed top do and how it was nice to pass so much easier.

We figured out the fuel milage and so far there seems to be little change, she is still averaging 19 + I will report on what the gauges read once I get them fixed.

So one can say so far we are happy campers with the changes

TST 230/605 power uprate kit. New name will be Plenty of power for me :)

LotsofPower,
I know what you mean, I bought my rig with the 230/605 plate already installed. I have a heck of a time trying to drive conservatively with all that torque. I can't imagine what some of these really bombed rigs feel like, must be incredible.
The urge to bomb is there, but my automatic keeps me from getting carried away. Maybe I'll contact Bill K. when this transmission decides to puke, then I can bomb away!
Good to hear you're happy.

Ain't it great?! Since aquiring the 4x4 I was hoping to transfer the #6 plate out of the 2wd. My wife put the kabosh on that quick #ad
She is already so spoiled to driving the bombed 2wd she's dangerous.
