Matt,

It was the highest hp for on-road applications (I'm thinking too much 'inside the box').

The calculation for torque, with the rotary pump, is essentially linear at 2. 5 ft/lbs per hp.

hey my 6... what do you think?. . i've been looking to convert my ve-44 to a p7100 but the cost is a lot. . but that 375hp rotary pump sounds sick too but it too is also expensive. . mummn what do you estimate a p7100 swap would cost vs a 375 rotary?... does any one have a really sick 1st gen . . i mean like twin turbo 600hp plus. . like some of you 2nd gens?... i'd like to build one. . 6speed. . done up... etc. . let me know more. . hey would that pump guy be interested in turning up a ve -44 4cylinder version for my vw td rabbit?. . thhey already turn 5200 rpm hehehe. . later

in my opinion you would be maxed at the ve level if you did spend the 2500 on this pump, and still only have 375hp. If you really wanted more you would be better off spending the money getting a 4000 dollar 215hp p pump motor then selling your motor for 2500. You'd be into it for less and have 350hp just in a minor tunup:). Its a much better place to start if you true goal is 600hp.

I'll ask about the 4 cylinder ve. I'll bet he'd love to do it. :)

yeah i was thinking the same thing. . but heck i think converting to a p7100 pump wouldn't be that hard. . i know the gear housing is different and im not sure of the price for them, but i had a line on a $700 p pump from a 95 dodge... i figured i could do a p7100 swap with used parts for around $1500. . i know i have a early head on my truck ('89)with the 9mm injector bosses. . but adapters will work for the big injectors. . and if the head is cracked around the injectors, replace it with newer 12 v head 7mmm injector bosses... mummn im debating fix my truck up and sell it to buy a new ho 6speed chassis cab 4x4 put a short dumping flatbed with a goose neck hitch (attached the frame not to dump bed). . daul 5 inch straight stacks... that would be real nice . . but big payment... not to bad if i sell my truck fixed with a plow. . figure $5k..... any advice. . ?. . oh yeah really look into the 4cyl ve pump deal as i have multiple vw turbo diesels and a vw 1. 9L tdi engine too the ve pumps come with different size plungers if he could source a 13mm to 15mm plunger that would be cool ... . im looking to spin 6000 rpm and pump enough fuel to make the twin turbo set up i built run good. . i can send some pics of that ha... i would like 200hp and 300 ftlbs. . in a 1600lb rabbit ha fun and still get at least 40 mpg. . cool later

Hey M. E. Miller! :)

Yeah! I've been following along w/ both of the Piers Super Turbo & the KwikKurt Kwik Spool turbos!

The KwikKurt is a HX40 w/ a 12cm2 or 14cm2 housing for "Kwik'er" spool up. For our VE application the Piers modified HX35 combo seems like the HOT set up at the moment.

That's where I'm off to when my almost 200,000 mile turbo gets tired! Now! If I had a "P" Pump my opinions might be different!:D

KEENO;)
