Just a thought- hows about puttin in studs in place of the bolts and use polished castle or acorn nuts. these would really dress up the top side, instead of the stock steel bolts my . 02 centavos!

That polished cover looks GREAT! What's it gonna take to maintain that though? Is it clear coated, or maybe clear powder coat (I read about that someplace)?

It could be clearcoated or just a good ol polishing every now and then will do it.
