My red valve cover isn't magnesium is it? Your just reffering to the factory covers correct?

Yes the factory cover. you can look on the inside and see the markings. the cummins covers are aluminum. you can feel the difference

The battery hold downs can be powder coated too. I took the first batch in today

first off, I got my cover and it looks GREAT! I pulled it out of the box, and installed it immediatly. I'll post up a pic or two later, but it looks great with my intense blue truck, and my blue AFE stage 2.



Secondly, did you get my PM to you?

I usually pass on the cosmetic items, especially when it comes to engine bays. But my stock dodge/cummins cover looked tired.

This new cover is awesome to look at, I don't believe the pictures in this thread are doing them justice.

Feeling kinda left out and remembered this pic, looks like one of these might bolt on a 3rd gen using the center hold down rather than the side ones... . naw I think the sealing surface is different too

Nice work Bob. This is going to be habit forming I can tell. I'm still amazed at my red valve cover. You should be getting a package tomorrow. I went ahead and sent my engine to you. I want the block red and the head blue to contrast the valve cover!
