24 valve intercooler

Has anyone changed to the 24 valve intercooler? I have heard of one guy that did but did not hear the results of it. I know they are more efficient.

Has anyone tried an aftermarket one from spearco or such?



Spearco could probably build up one but how many bananas?

If I recall correctly Peirs had on in his old 12 valve SMOKER. because it was more efficent.

I'm pretty sure MY6EATSV8's has a 24 - valve intercooler listed in his signature. You could ask him about the results.

I've done this one, mainly because my old one was popped from shrapnal so it was leaking badly. I cant give you any back to back differences but I was told by Piers they were more efficient. I cant argue with him for he is more knowledgeabe than I. I can tell you they fit in the same spot, have 2 less tubes but are 1/2" taller.

I also have a 24V intercooler. The body shop that I had my truck last year got the part #'s mixed up. What a shame. I cant give a seat of the pants feel due to it was a month between the old one and a new one.
