You really should use the divided port gasket if possible.

I am no where near a Cummins dealer and I need it today . Every time I call Cummins it takes a week to get the part and I have to drive 150 miles to get it I guess I’ll put the old one on it

??????? The Cummins dealer here will overnight parts to me. Kind of expensive but costs less than a week of down time and driving 150 miles. Maybe you ought to call a different Cummins dealer.

Makes no difference who I call it os all Rocky Mountain Cummins in the area I have never had any luck dealing with them . And yes the old gasket is broken . So back to my original question can this gasket be used

You do realize that independent shops who do authorized Cummins repairs and display the big C can also get you parts overnight don't you? The one that is about 14 miles from me has the school district's school bus franchise and carries tons of 5.9 parts.

The closest anything Cummins is 150 mile round trip for me . For now it will get the new gasket then I’ll have to change it I guess

overnight would be cheap on something so small.

I will order it somewhere where ever it comes from will be at least a week I’m sure . Next day shipping is between 50$ and 75$ no matter how small it is .

I live 200 miles from Phoenix, I can get next day freight every day of the week without paying for it. Overnight is normal.
