Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 241 transfer case

I just bought a 2001 that was hit on the left front the 241hd transfer case is cracked. are all 241 cases the same or do I have to find an HD case

manual and autos have different input. the outputs on the Dhd and Dld are different too. I have a DLD and driveshaft out of a 97 that i would sell ya. PM me if your interested

The way to tell what transfer case you have is to read the sticker on the back of the transfer case. You have 2 options, a 241DLD (Light Duty) or a 241DHD (Heavy Duty) Their cases are NOT interchangeable as there are vast differences in size of the internal workings.
