Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 245R16 or 265R16

The truck has 265's on it but the load rating label on the door post says 245's. What gives?

I just changed over to 265/75's and I really like them, 245's are just too short and narrow. I'll take the 4% difference in the odometer for the look and ride.

My truck came with 265's also, but the door sticker says 245's. I think that somewhere around 01', they made the 265's standard, but never updated the door sticker. There should be a tire pressure data sheet with the delivery paperwork that has the correct numbers for the 265's.

Mine is that way too

245 sticker and 265-OEM. Speedo is right for 265's and I like them better. I run empty most of the time and 265's are best for me.



Mine and Dad's trucks have 265's on them. Mom's has the 245's and they just look too leetle.
