24v Manual Supplement........

I have heard a rumor that there is a small supplement book for our 24v CTD to go along with the Service Manual we all purchased... ... . Anyone have one of these or have any idea what i am talking about? Noticed that the thermostat location and removal and installation procedure in the service manual is for a 12v. Then ISBPilot told me he had heard of a supplement book for the 24v to go along with the service manual... ... He was unable to locate one of these so called supplements..... Any of you guys have an idea?

Supplementary info...

The Factory workshop manual from DC for my truck had a supplement - it was just an update for the deltas affecting the 2001 model year and the original manual was just for the 2000 model year trucks.



I guess DC felt it was cheaper to sell the original 2000 workshop manuals and an extra book, until they had got rid of inventory, before reprinting in one concise manual.

24V Supplement

I just ordered my service manual today and they offered me three different diagnostic manuals to go along with it. One for the body, one for the drivetrain, and I don't remember what the other was for. It added about $ 20-25 to the bill. This may be what you have been told about. Mine was for a 2002 model. Hope it helps.

My 2001 was the same, 2 large service manual and 3 smaller diagnostic supp.

Do I need the supps?

I ordered a service manual yesterday, but I held off on the supps. Wanted to find out if they're worth having and/or if I should get a manual from Cummins.
