Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 24v oil pan on a 12v

Hello,

Will a oil pan off a 2002 24v Dodge fit a 98 12v Dodge?

My first instinct would be to say 'yes'... . it should fit without any problems at all. I could be wrong, though... .

Thanks Matt,

Since I posted this I have ordered one. This will be the sure way to find out! It is supposed to made to were oil does not drain til the plug is completely removed. My old pan is suffering from overtightening and I thought I would try the redesigned one from cummins. It was even cheaper than a new 12v pan .

Please think about updating this thread when you find out for sure whether it fit or not... . I know I'm interested in hearing the results...

The gaskets for em are the same... ... . at least thats what the Cummins place told me..... So bet they are the same... ... after its the same block aint it?
