Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 24v turbo on a 12v???

I have a 98 12v. Will a stock turbo off a 2000 24v fit with a few minor modification?

You need to check the oil inlet on your turbo to see it is compatible with your 12v oil line. I just put a new turbo on mine today. The new turbo had a 2003 and newer style fitting on the oil supply. I bought an adapter fitting from a hose supply house for $3 and all is well.

No problem,a direct bolt on. They are both hx 35's. The oil returns are the same

you will also have to remove the two manifold studs from the 2000 modle turbo. the 24v had 2 in the trurbo 2 on the manifold just remove the two from the turbo and drill them out to the same size as the other 2. and just swap the oil inlet fittings the thread on the chargers are the same just the lines are different.
