24valve mopar E-brake on 12 valve?

I have a 24 valve mopar jacobs E- brake that i want to use on a `96 12 valve. will the mechanical aprts work, and can the unit be operated with a on-off switch instead of the ECM? thanx

The e-brake on my 01 bolts to the turbo, but I know that my buddy's 98 24 valve turbo doesn't bolt on-it has a band clamp. If your 96 has a band clamp, not bolt on, will it work with the e-brake?

Don't forget you need the 60# exhaust valve springs on your 12v to get the braking needed.
