Unfortunatly this can be a loaded question that will get differnt responses. This being said,*I* would not be scared of it. *I* would load it and scale each axel. I do this to make sure I am not over the load rating of the tires. *I* pull a 32' flatbed with sometimes two fullsize trucks on the trailer. I am looking for a slide in to put on the front of my trailer for weekend trail rides, or when we go long distances pulling.
My last load went across the scales at 29,900# gross truck/trailer(10 big round hay bales). I could pull OD down the interstate, and 4th on the 2 lanes.
Just be sure to make sure all tire pressures are right, brakes are adjusted right, and you won't be able to stop on a dime. I'm sure you already knew all this.
