250 Year Old Tortoise

This guy lived to be 250 years old.

To put this into perspective, that big guy was in his 20's when a radical nation calling themselves the United States of America claimed independence from Britain. I honestly am saddened by his passing, but I guess he lived long enough.

I went to an outdoor show and a Guy who showed off reptiles and stuff had a 125 yr old snapping turtle. Weighed about 100 pounds

I guess that Tortoise was born about the same time as the Saguaro cactus around here.
