I am curious how heavy the hitch pin weights people run on the 2500 QC 4x4 with trailer packages? Any in the 2100# area?

Does the rear sag below level or Level out?

I put a thousand pounds of sand and cement in the bed of my truck, next to the tailgate, and the bed went down to level.

That makes me believe a thousand over the axle would hardly show any difference.

I'm trying to get a idea of 2000# and above.

Thanks in advance. Ed

Don't know what the hitch pin weight on my fiver is, probably in the 1800-1900 range, but my slide-in weighs about 1900 dry and sits the truck just below level in the back. I have the camper and tow package on mine. After I'm all loaded, there isn't any difference. Once I start hitting the overload springs, if I hit them, it doesn't sit down any more.

I used to have a 2500 QC 4X4 and towed a 5w with a 2000-2100# pin weight. The truck sat level, but that mad the GVW on the truck9500-9600#, about 800# over the trucks 8800# GVW.
