The 90ish was when I picked it up at the dealer. Checked them sometime after I got home. Needless to say they are not that high now.

Exactly... one of the three main reasons I went 3500.

Every 2500 complaint I've heard has to due with the stupid TPMS setting and an empty bed.
AH64ID,
Are the rear leafs two thick leafs with the bottom overload? I saw some today that the shop says came off a newer 3500.

There are two options.

The standard 3500 suspension is the same basic spring pack that has been on 3500 DRW’s since 03, and SRW’s since 10. It’s a 3/1 setup. The spring rates might have changed over the years, but they look the same.

Then there is the auto-level which is 2 thinish leaves with thick overloads that have contact bumpers. The 15’s have two 1/2 leaves in the front to help with axle wrap. The 17+ (not sure when it started for sure) one full length overload and one 1/2 leaf on the front.

These are the auto-level springs.

If you are test drivings trucks on a dealer lot, there are probably 80 lbs in the tires.........

Sam

You are correct and that is what I run my tires at due to hauling 325 and 500 gallon water tanks. Those rear tires get a little too warm when running 45 psi with that kind of weight.
