Have been reading about the SolidSteel track bar bracket and posted a question a few months back and got favorable replies. Is the consensus still that this is the fix of choice? I'm about to put out the dollars and just want a little more confirmation that it'll be money well spent. Thanks guys.

It is a good investment, but for me it did not solve every steering issue. It does guarantee that your steering box bearings and seals will survive and probably reduce any frame twisting. It is a good place to start, put it that way.

Slop at both ends of the track bar, tires, alignment, shocks, steering gearbox and pump, and numerous linkages all combine to create the sensation of driving a prairie schooner. Good luck RR

Bestt hing you can do to improve the steering... . I also did the DSS bracket that stablizes the shaft from pushing back and forth... . The other item makes for double the price, but it does help alot... . I tow a 36' 5th and I can take my hands off the wheel and the truck stays straight... No wobble or drifting!

Get both items I promise you, you won't be sorry.

I like my DSS bar also. It helped out, but what I really like and really worked for me is a new gear box. I bought a PSC Gear box. www.offroadsteering.com

I got mine from Chris @ 4 Wheel Customs www.4wheelcustoms.com

The price was $290 shipped to my door. In my opinion it was the best mod for a dodge truck.
