I will be installing Timbrens on 2500 4x4 this weekend. Suggestions on space to leave between bottom of Timbren and top of axle.

On the new Timbrens, they give you a rubber donut spacer to fine tune the gap a bit... I've got about an inch gap on my truck, they work great

I have the 11. 50 axle on my 2500 and keep a 1" space by using the 1/2" spacer supplied by Timbren(they also supply a 1" spacer). Use a 15mm wrench and install should be about 45 minutes. They work great!

Timbrens installed

Installed my Timbrens today. I have about 5/8" space to axle.

Timbrens

I spoke to Timbrens direct and they gave me dealer in Charlotte, NC. I paid a little over 200 bucks.

I am using them as we speak on my first trip and I will say they ruffed my ride a lot. Much more springy in the rear and I don't like that.

I have the same rig but when I installed the tembrens I had 1. 25 in between the axle and the overload. I can see from your pic that on a little rough road they will be hitting. Mine dont. Cant tell from the pic, do you have the spacer in? If you do take it out. Jim
