2500 vs 3500 SRW?

I pretty sure all the 3/4 and 1 tons have the 9. 25 front end. The rear can be a 10. 5 or 11. 5. Usually the 10. 5 is from the hemis or SO cummin smotors (not all but some)
 
All diesels have 11. 5" rear for '04. 5. Previously, the only diesel's with a 10. 5" rear in '03 or '04 were 2500 SO diesels with automatics. Also 3500 SRW only come with the diesel, last time I checked KBB or Edmunds the 3500 SRWs used values were higher than the 2500 by more than the cost difference at purchase.

Your right. I wrongly remembered an article in an old Four Wheeler mag.



For '03 the rear for the HO 2500 was the 11. 5, all other 2500 got the 10. 5. While all 3500's got the 11. 5. Sorry for the mis-info.
