I got the same amount of miles out of toyo m55 verses the stock michelins.

40,000 miles, on lousy over crowned, poorly maintained maine roads.

I just put 285 bfg's on my truck. I really like how they look. When I go to fill up how far off will the mileage be compared to the stock 265's? Thanks Jeff

285's, and my mods make towing our 5er up steep Oregon grades and winding roads a snap - last RV trip out to Oregon coast and back - 1200 mile run - delivered the best ever towing MPG of slightly over 17 MPG - with power to spare! :D

Simply drop into 5th gear in the hills, and cruise at about 5 MPH over the state 55 MPH speed limit - uphill. The 285's place the Cummins RPM right in the middle of it's "sweet spot" at that speed in 5th gear! ;)

Don't you 4:10's? I am considering going to 285's when I get new tires this week.

Jeepit don't forget that your truck will go further with one turn of the tire so your mileage reading will actually be less than how far you are actually going. If you see a 1 mpg drop, that would really mean no drop at all.
