The wife says I can't sell the 99 for a 92 so I'm going to install a set of 275hp injectors and I would like to know who has the best deal?
And - Have those that bought the tools found them helpful?

PS: You can email me if your a supplier. marty_bursell@hotmail.com or marty_bursell@mentor.com

Thanks

BV i got the tools from miller , haven't used them yet but they look like they will help and were fairly inexpensive , check out their website and make note of the price , the price you get when you call will be higher , but tell them the price you saw on the page and they will sell you them for that price , do a search for miller or spx on this site and that will get you the address , phone number and tool numbers if you don't already have them , if you call a local diesel injection shop that sells bosch with the part number you can get them almost as cheap as you will find from a few others , if not email me , i have a set and am thinking of going to a higher stage and will give you a good deal

Thanks to all who have responded to my questions. I ordered the tools online from spx and got the price as marked plus $5-6 for s&h. I had to reorder the service manual that never should up from November and then it only took a week to get. The injectors are on order locally and it amazed me of the price variance between vendors - I was quoted pricing from $280 through $550 all for the same injector. Goes to show you that it pays to shop around.
Thanks again, Marty

Thought I should give an update on the 275hp injectors so here goes.
Half a tank of running around and to work yields 18. 76 mpg compared to 17. 6 with stock injectors. Now for the weird part - We took same trip (over Mt Hood via hwy26) as last year and my mileage dropped from 16. 3 to 15. 4 #ad
. I have to admit that the pickemup did better on the hills but I wasn't very heavy with a 1700# aluminum boat, 2 coolers, and a row of firewood so I'm kinda disapointed. I will have to see if the next tank of fuel does anything different and go from there.
Just hit 15,000 miles on the odometer.

Guess I forgot to mention that the cruise was set at 65mph most of the time so my foot was very soft on the go pedal. I was trying to achieve top mileage and drove the same as last year with stock injectors. Again I admit that it was nice to pull the hill without a downshift - just disappointed in the decreased fuel mileage for such a small load and considering the 1st tank was up 1 mpg.

BV, I think the truck gets better mileage in the mountains with out running on cruise, at least mine does. Also the Miller Tool web is www.spxmiller.com/ bg

Whew . . bobmitis is getting to me!

I clicked on BG's posted link for the tools. Not knowing the exact link to click on . . I selected on the obvious first link D/C.

Then I selected the HVAC link . . brain washed into associating injector / performance accessories with HVAC I guess.

In defense . . I would have never associated HVAC (High Voltage / AC) with products associated with a Chrysler Product.

I've had symptoms of bombitis for a while now, but the pocket book is keeping its effects to a minimum. I don't know how much longer till I succumb.
