Have a 97 2500 w/auto, stock except for the 230HP TST kit slid forward just slightly. On a dyno last month, in lock up drive, it put out 279 HP & 646 torque, at the wheels, on a floor dyno. With 135,000 miles on it now, will I benifit from bigger injectors?
Would I have anything to gain by putting 275 HP injectors in at this time? At 135,000 the originals have never been removed, so far no reason to. What happens to milage if I upgrade? How much would they cost? Is there a core value for the ones I have? If I'm geting over 300 hp at the flywheel now, what will the bigger injectors do? The drive train is still like new, & in stock condition, but I baby it when I need to. I like a little extra power when I need it, but I use it carefully, & don't deliberately abuse it. I know there have been a lot of posts about the 275's, but never thought I might be able to use them until the dyno test. Any Ideas?
