Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) 275 hp injectors, need quick response

has anyone had a problem,over boost etc. , using 275 hp. injectors with no other mods?

I have a truck with 2 bad injectors and will be replacing them tomorrow.

this truck is a 2001 245 hp. with a 6 speed.

what do you mean by bad?



Did you buy them off ebay or from a goood vendor?

you should use an aftermarket boost module with most upgrades

bad as in will not hold pressure and pop at about 2000 psi.

they dribble fuel as long as there is any pressure applied to them

kind of reminds me of 6. 5 gm injectors

this is a fairly high mileage truck with two known tanks of bad fuel/watery fuel run through it (220,000 mi. )



if it wont set a code then i will just put in a set of 275's



this truck pulls a 40 ft G'neck every day of its life at weights to 30k gross

If your pulling that much get the 275's and a EZ. This is a sweet pulling combo, and I think you would be very happy with it.

this is my dads truck, it had 220,000 mi on it with the original injectors





let me tell you



big difference hooked to g'neck with 12k lbs. on it after finishing tonight.

you could really notice the power Oo.
