If you set your EZ on soft setting not aggressive, either 1 or 2 you can probably live with and save you transmission, I am running a Comp (no wire) and 275s, and I what I found is that I can run 1x2 OK, but put set to 1x5 and you can definitely feel the difference, but it gave me an uncomfortable feeling belly meter about the transmission life expectancy, and sure would accelerate the damage factor.

So, I set the the level 2 to 2x5 and without the wire (1x5) it give me a switch from 1x2 to 1x5, and there is a definite difference, on 1x5 the comp adds extra fuel at zero boost and will exceed the stock curve.

The 275 bomb would not show up on any computer on the CTD, like an EZ might. I guess what I am trying to say is I thought the 275's would be the only bomb you could add and still keep your warranty because it would be almost impossible for the dealer to detect. Tell me if I'm wrong. I already know I'm morally corrupt :p for saying this.

Any injector is not detectable by the ecm, unless they force the turbo to overboost and you are not running a boost module. Injectors are a Mechanical modification, the ECM has no way of seeing that.

However, any Competant Tech will be able to notice the extra power, and if he is trying to diagnose a powertrain problem for warantee work, then he may pull the injector and compare part numbers. An EZ may or may not show up on the Cummins ECM... you have to know what to look for.

If you want to keep your warantee, then keep the truck showroom stock! If you BOMB it, then start chanting the BOMBers Mantra "I am my own warantee station"

It is just that simple!
