275 Injectors & EZ Dyno results

Just had 275(scheid diesels version) injectors & EZ installed and thought I would share my dyno results, this is on a 2001 HO 6spd. Stock-203HP 506Ft lbs. -Injectors-250HP 628Ft lbs. EZ with boost elbow and injectors 300HP 840Ft lbs. EGTs post turbo after injectors 1050-1100 after EZ/elbow (boost now 26-28 lbs) 950deg.
Finally this truck will pull... ... ... . IF I can keep the clutch in it.

I noticed tonight 1st time after mods pulling my 12000# fifth wheel that the truck seems to surge(for the lack of a better term) around 54-56mph 1700rpm in high gear no cruise control, if I bring the rpm up it goes away, any Ideas ? can these have to much timing ? it only does it loaded not empty.

My pickup does the same **** surging, and it did it stock so I don't think it's the mods. My dealer can't find anything, let me know if you find something out.

Who says the ETH doesn't wake up with a set of RV injectors and a good box???

I tried CUMMINNTSTRKN's EZ box on my ETH last weekend (which has RV injectors) and liked the considerable power gains, woke the Cummins right up #ad
I didn't watch EGTs too close but don't think they were much higher than without the box.

It is nice to see ETHs respond well to boxes. I also tried Bob Wagner's old van Aaken, it worked awesome and helped deliver a 9 second 0-60 with 400+ lbs of sand in the bed. EGTs maxed at 1050 on a hard 0-90 run (in a 35mph zone #ad
) Cdaleh and some others tried the van Aaken at the NW BOMBer bash as well. With the vA on he spun the clutch of his RV injectored ETH #ad


Jim, how are you liking your Stage 2s? Any affect on mileage?

i like the dd2's. as far as mileage i got almost 19 going to nw bombfest with no cruise. and coming back i got almost 18 with the cruise at about 75mph. the cruise isn't very smooth since the 2's.

i didn't check my mileage to cleellum (sp. ) thats were i filled up and i got almost 18 from there to helena.

Good to see an ETH can respond so well! Seem's these have potential dispite earlier assumtions of not being cabable. Just one question though; Dynoed 506ft lbs Stock? They're only rated 505 at the flywheel stock!?

Cuminntstrkn, There Dyno is a Mustang, I would be glad to post my dyno print outs if someone more computer literate than myself can tell me how to... ..... got the scanner... no no how.

Insurance company wouldn't let me get 'into the engine' for the injectors. Had I been healthy I would have done it anyway, but such is life. I got the PS Module, but it won't fit the ETH. Psst, it's for sale.
275s and the EZ are sounding like a lot of bang for the buck for the HO, Mike. I'm going to lay quietly in the weeds like a snake and listen for awhile #ad

Cumminntstrkn put in DDII's and an EZ and Dynoed at 391 HP and 822 ft/lbs of torque. How about going to the DDI's or DDII's?

What's the boost elbow, where does it go in relation to say the turbo and an exhaust brake (leaning toward the Pacbrake right now).

Windrider... IMSWHO. The only stupid question is one not asked! #ad


The boost elbow goes on your turbo to change how your wastegate operates. . they increase your boost pressures. . usually lowering smoke levels and your EGT's (exhaust gas temperatures)it must be used with a boost module so your ECM (engine control module) will not cut back fuel and set a overboost error code in the computer. . Most new POWER boxes (PowerEdge EZ is a great one) include both with great instructions that make it easy to install.

It should not effect your exhaust brake.
