275 injectors on Ebay...cheap

Guys there are several sets of new RV275 injectors on Ebay for a "buy it now" of around $230-250.

I have been looking at those for some time now. I am planning to get a set after I upgrade the transmission

If you are referring to the ones from the shop in San Diego they are not Bosch injectors. They are made to the shops specs and cross reference to the Bosch P/N. I already inquired about them.

Yeah, he's right. I have seen a couple of people selling them. Some are actual Bosch injectors, some aren't. One thing about Ebay, always ask first! Especially when it says,"sold as is" or "all sales final. "

Yikes, I just thought since they said 275's that they would be Bosch RV injectors. I really never thought somone would go to the trouble of copying some 275's and selling them.



Has anyone ever run a set of these knockoffs??

Cheap Injectors are like cut-rate brain surgeons

Would you jeopardize your engine for $25. 00. That is what you could save, and yet you would not have any assurance as to where or how they were made.

New doesn't mean good and cheaper doesn't mean lesser quality...

Somebody (me) ordered me a set for Christmas. I didn't read the fine print that wasn't there and I was a little surprised when I didn't see the Bosch name. I talked to their tech guy and plan on putting them in soon.



I figure that these guys went to a lot of trouble to match Bosch's specs. Do you really think they said... . hey, let's make a crappy product? Look at how many companies make spark plugs. Some perform better in particular applications. Considering where some of those "genuine" bosch injectors are made...

So what's the recourse if you VP-44 takes a crap while running the Bosch 275HP injectors? You're screwed just as bad as running the no-name injectors.



Also, DD3 or Supermentals or whatever else the other injectors are called aren't any more Bosch after the mods than the ones from the San Diego shop. I was just pointing out that these injectors are not Bosch injectors. I was not making a judgement on these injectors.

When I had Bosch RV275's the box they came in said "made in Turkey", that did not give me a great feeling. I have a feeling that there is probably nothing wrong with these injectors, heck they might be better than real bosch RV's. . who knows. I don't think they will be any worse for a truck than any other "modified" injector.



Let us know how they perform... I have two buddys that are waiting to buy some till somone tries them out.
