I have a 2001 QC, 3. 54 gear and 4 speed auto. , thinking of installing 275 injectors, truck is used for towing 34 ft. 11,000 lb. fith wheel. Can I buy these injectors through the cummins dealer, if not where else can these be purchased, does any one have the part numbers.

Thanks Chuck

chuck i don't have the number handy , but if you do a search for 275 injector part number , you should find it easily .

as far as buying them DON'T GO TO CUMMINS , you will pay more and they will give you a hassle about voiding your warranty . find a local bosch injection shop , you should be able to get them for about 300 bucks .

How do we reach Bill? For the injectors.

Which is better: Bosch 275's or DD1's?

DDI's will give you better performance than the 275's. Alot of people who don't want to get carried away but want more performance than the 275's will go for the DDI's or DDII's. If it were me I would by-pass the 275's and go for the DDI's or II's.

Bully Dog has come out with a extruded honed injectors (step I, II, III, IV) that are suppose to be comparable to the DD's but are cheaper. I chose the Bully Dog step III's.

Things to come; The clutch has let me know it is going to need attention very soon!
Pyro, 50# Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges (have Ultra lites will install shortly), PE EZ timing module and injectors (have Bully Dog step III injectors just need to install them), have 2 KC Daylighters (Stainless with 385,000 candlepower each), have 2 KC Fog lamps(Stainless 100w each) and waiting for Bar II Stainless Brush Guard to arrive, then will mount guard and lights.

Will the 300 or 370 injectors for the 12v also work in the 24v H. O. ?

The tips are interchangeable, but the spray patterns and angles are all wrong. Sorry, for the bad news.

The 275's and the DD1's are the same INJECTOR according to a distributor who sells both. .

KWIKKURT - Stay away from that guy, he doesn't know anything. The RV275 injector is a stock Bosch unit. They have a part number of 0432193635. The DD2's and 3's use this same HOLDER, but some other tip (I think DD now says their TT2 injector is their own tip).

Anyway, the DD1 uses the same holder as stock, 0432193629 (manual) or 0432193630 (auto - except '01 auto which uses manual injectors).

Anyway, there is a part number difference, as well as about 25hp difference between the 275's and DD1's. DD1's have the stock part numbers, which is why most people skip RV's and go to them... to stay in warranty.
