I had my pump & injectors replaced in oregon after a BAD fuel trip down the Alcan. shop said they put my #11 plate back in and installed 275hp injectors. im not to knowledgeable about injectors and pumps. since then i've been told there are no 275hp injectors for the 12v. she definitely blew mass smoke til i got the star wheel turned down. (one truck smog alert) Anybody have any experience. i found out the shop was more of a PS shop than a CTD after the fact.

97 2500 5spd #11 4" 19. 5 pac brake (xx) injectors? etc... .....

keep the shiny side up

275's (Bosch) = RV injectors

I don't think that those ones (for 24 valve) will fit into a 12 valve head. The 12's injectors sit to one side of the valves in each cylinder, and the 24's injectors are positioned in the middle of the 4 valves. You may have received aftermarket injectors that rate a certain HP increase and are called "275"... . Or the shop guys may not know what they're talking about. The 2 types of injectors are different shapes and size; I don't think it's a mix & match proposition.

There are 215s for the 12v. Maybe they got confused (if they were thinking they were bigger than what you had)? Since you have a '97 5spd, that is what comes stock.

Just adding the #11 plate would probably give you some smoke.
