So the injectors arrived on Friday and first thing Saturday morning, armed with my directions I headed towards the Green Hornet.

Step by step I followed the instructions and found the job overall to be fairly simple. Pulling the tubes out a little so it was possible to pull the injector up and out was a little bit of a challenge.

All and all the total job from start to road test was a little less than 2 hours.

Love the results, pulling the 5'er this week to Canada and will see what happens to mileage and pulling power.

Congratulations on a well accomplished install.

Not much seat of the pants with the 275's (empty) but you'll be amazed when you tow specially with the combinations you have according to your sig. I was totally impressed how much difference they make towing, I just keep the comp on 1x3 and I'll tell you, there's no stock Phord or Chebby that can keep up with me. That pedal all the way to the right is the limit. So far I've been on trips out to IN and Fl and there's no hill too big for this set up. Mileage, I don't think you'll see any difference but, like I said pulling, YES.

Good luck and enjoy the ride.

Fred.

Thanks Fred I appreciate your congrats! It was a fun install and I'd do it again anytime, but not any higher than the 275's though.

This setup is fine for now until I can get the exhaust upgraded.

I thought the 275's gave me a nice boost in performance and then when that wore off I got DD3's. I gave the 275's to my Dad who has a 98. 5 5 speed and he loves them. He says his truck has more power and finds that it is much easier to pass other vechicles now. He still has not towed with them but is buying a fifth wheel this fall and going traveling. I think he will be happy.

Congrats on the install and have fun.

275's

I agree with everything JR2 said above except for the giving the 275's to me. I traded a new aluminum red salmon dipnet for them. JR2 did install them for me though.

The 275's are a kick in the a--. I am thinking about another "go faster" goodie. We will see what JR2 suggests next. He bought me a big old humongous air filter (Fleetguard) for fathers day. We will see how that works tomorrow.

Hurry up JR2, the silver salmon are coming.

Still collecting information, but preliminary results make it look like 275's added about ~1 mpg to my ETH, based on easy hwy driving with light to moderate loads. Since my main goal was mpg, I think I made the right choice on injectors with the 275's.
