I went last year and had a blast Oo. Went the year before and had a blast Oo. and I am going this year and I know I will have a blast

Oo. So I will not be alone this year. I live @ 30min's from the track And will be there early my self. I will be bringing my 105 qt cooler with soda & food. I also have a portable grill and a turkey firer & a 10x10 canopy all of which i plan on bringing with a couple chairs. Hope to have granddaughter there to see pop pop race the truck. Oo.

i always attend the e town shows its my favorite. . im not sure what do do this year though as my wife is due oct2 and is expected early , doctor says anytime around sept15 on is fair game . . ha. . man maybe i'll be attending alone?. . mummn or not. . kinda sucks . . we usually bring a canopy and bbq also very fun time. . later

What time do you think you'll be leaving to head down? Coming back the same day or are you staying overnight somewhere?

I will be leaving Friday night and staying Saturday night.



So, I plan on being at the gates around 8:00 AM.

I really want to go, still have to talk to the wife, and the in-laws about kid sitting overnight.



If you reserve the space when you get there, and we roll in around 10 or 11, is it a problem getting in??



Where ya staying Joe? I'd like to make reservations ASAP...

i'll be getting there early like 8am or earlier . . and not staying overnight etc... drive down in morning and leave at night. . the night show is cool jet trucks and dragsters. . monster trucks . . etc truck parade ..... traffic gets insane. . especially later on even driving anything inside the show is a pain... . normally you can't drive into the pits unless its a race vehicle... ie you enter your pickup etc. . we tried bring two vehiclesin or non being race vehicles also haha a while ago no go even when we were racing one we weren't allowed to bring another truck with tables and food in etc. . kinda sucks . . so keep that in mind. . last year we setup with the ddra guys and had the tent and bbq going... as for the baby. . ha yeah i thought about a diesel show baby heheh . . heck e town is only 2hrs awayanyhow so if she goesinto labor we "should" have plenty of time to drive home, pack and get to the hospital haha

I have relatives that I stay with that live about forty five minute away from the track. If you wanted to spend the night, there is a load of hotels/motels in the local area.



Stay Saturday night and we can all go to the Englishtown Flea Market Sunday

Do you have to be a member of the DHRA to race???



How much is it to get in, gate, racing fee??



Requirements for racing??? (Helmet, clothing, etc. )

To race, I think it is the same price as entrance



You must have,



Helmet

Fire extinguisher

Seat belts

DOT tires (No Slicks)

#2 Diesel only (No Drugs)

Valid vehicle registration



No trailers in pit areas



That's it, nothing special that I can think of

God It frikkin figures I would yet have another delema ..... My oly guy is going on vacation for two weeks starting the 12th @$%^^&^&^$%#$%#(**&^%%$%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! However If the gods and powers that be will let it happen I can have someone cover ... ..... however me and the powers that be got into a fight today Figures.
