I have a friend who is thinking about putting 285's on his 98 4x4 dually do you need spacers and please post pics of you truck so we can get an idea of how it looks.

There is a place around Denver that makes spacers to go about as big as you want. I'm fixin' to get some 1. 5" or 2" so I can chain up the rear with my 255's. I sure would like to find some 35" tall and skinnies to go with next time!

spacers are at www.performancewheel.com

Itried running spacers on my 99 to accomodate 245's they were alum and they were not true (off by millimeters) and had a bad vibration problem. Try to use steel spacers if you can so they can bee machined to a uniformed thickness if you exp vibration.
