I'm looking for a 29 spline input shaft for my NP205. Anybody got a line on where to get one? Anybody have one in loose hands?

FYI, my Allison 1000 series transmission uses this style output shaft (NV4500HD). So if anyone is looking to swap an Allison into their dodge cummins pickup at least the t-case won't give you any problems :)

Thanks in advance,

Brayden

If dodge offered an NP205 with a 29 spline input shaft... I assume they also made the little slip collar that spans between the transmission output shaft and the xfercase input shaft? I need one of those guys...

dodge only used 23 spline 205's in our cummins trucks. the 29 spline changed in 96 i think. and quad 4x4 kit is like 300 dollars i think but good quality and he is correct slight machineing is required

So the getrag 5spd and the first runs of the nv4500 had a 23 spline output shaft???

Or were they 29spline... and to mate to a 23 spline input shaft on the np205 they had a 29/23 spline adapter?

just for giggles... try these folks... I don't know what they can or can't do for ya but I do know when you split you box in half they have VERY GOOD PRICES for new Transfer cases... might just have the kits and or parts at reasonable prices also. . worth a look anyway
