The Mason Dixon Turbo Diesel Club Mason Dixon Turbo Diesel Club will be holding our 2nd Annual Diesel Drag & Dyno Day at Cecil County Dragway, Rising Sun, Maryland :: CECIL COUNTY DRAGWAY :: on July 19, 2008.

Like last year, this will be a fun filled day of relaxing Test & Tune style racing with a limited number of “Racer’s” permitted as to insure participants can make as many passes as they would like. This is an “Outlaw” style event meaning, trucks can go as fast as they want as long as they can pass NHRA Tech for their times! (No Exceptions!) There will also be a bracket style “Gambler’s Race” organized for those that want the chance to win some money.

We will be teaming up and sharing the track with about 30 cars from the Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racers’ Assoc. Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Drag Racers' Association . This will be a great chance to see some awesome pre-1973 Drag cars up close and in action!!

TNT Diesel Performance Home will have their mobile Dynojet 248H on hand to handle the Dyno activities. The dyno fee will be $70 for 3 pulls for people with “spectator” tickets and $60 for 3 pulls for people with “Racer” tickets. Dyno sign-up will be first come, first serve the day of the event.

“Racer” tickets will be $50 in advance and $60 at the gate (if available) and will entitle the holder to admission in the track and a Tech Card to race. There will only be 120 “Racer” tickets available. Information on ticket payments and availability will be given closer to the event. Spectator and Pit-crew admission will be $10 per person at the gate the day of the event.

Any Sponsors interested in being a part of this event please contact me at -- email address removed -- .

So mark your calendars and spread the word!! Talk with anyone who attended last year’s event about what a great time this event is!!

yep, had a great time as usual! It is always fun hooking up with the "gang". Thanks Greg for putting this all together. :D This year was a big success.

Well...

I get to first bust Greg's stones a bit,. :-laf:-laf

Hmmmm,

Hey Greg,

You missed with my dyno numbers(506. 48/967. 43)there old buddy,. You may want to fix them as the tuner responsible for finding my power leak sweated his butt off to lay those numbers down in the 100 degree heat.:eek:

Now on A Serious Note...

I thought the show was a HUGE success and the amount of trucks in attendence proved that. Many fine rides of all makes were there and it was neat to see some of the old drag cars which we watched as kids make passes also. The "Jungle Jim" superstock Nova I seen many moons ago at the old York US30 on the bumper with its nose to the sky and yesterday when it when skyward I was taken back there. It was also nice to see how many Duramaxes and Ford's came out to the show. Now if we can only get the D-Max crowd to come out to our annual dyno shows. Next year will be even bigger and better. Many Thanks to the sponsors of the gamblers race,Cecil County and the TNT Performance crew for the work making this show happen.

Here is a link to the photos I took while rambling around and if anyone has any they would like to add please email them to me at -- email address removed -- ... ... ... ... . Andy

I would like to personally thank TimeBomb and puller Eric Strite. Timebomb came all the way out to our show to check and readjust the timing on my 12v. The 100 degree heat was not exactly worker friendly but Coop still got the job done and for that I owe him a HUGE THANK YOU!. Its amazing what one can pick back up when the timing was where it was supposed to have been. Cooper Tuning at its finest has gotten me pointed back in the right direction so now we can tweak to liven up the new charger and make it work.

Also I would Like to thank local puller Eric Strite. I know it was his timing kit which Coop had and I certainly do appreciate him allowing us to use it. I know he wasn't at our show but he still deserves a BIG THANK YOU from me for the help.
