Nice article, with some stock images from back in the day,. I'm sure it's been here somewhere in other threads.

Yeah Im on my phone and was scrolling on and on, it was a pretty long article figured would share it.

Also thanks for that gauge info, I did get your message but figured you could enjoy your vacation. I'm waiting on this last cutting of Hay before I tear into my list of items. Don't think I will need my truck but hate to tear it back apart and find out we need it. Used it twice this year for hay due to other equipment issues.

In the summer of 93 I had an insider connection that leaked all the Cummins and dodge info on the the new platform.Without seeing the new body in the flesh it was a bit unnerving, the pictures I had seemed ok so I ordered away. That 94 turned out to be the best vehicle I have owned.I kept it for over 20 years till I let it go to another truck lover who has done a total restoration of show quality.

Great story Bob, way to take a shot in the dark, a brand new platform could be really bad on first release.

I did some searches on that Author and what an impressive resume of Chrysler history he has put together, will throw it out there that maybe no group has more info on complete Chrysler history, besides Chrysler. And as I always stick my head out will maybe be schooled again, but really not downplaying any other groups including the TDR which is beyond compare for CTD info.

I signed up for their site Allpar and posted a request for info on the 1996 INDY safety trucks, if anyplace has a little more info on those would be that site. Still looking for info on those. I have found alot on those but never hurts to ask.

The Author has actually been battling cancer for a few years, and is quite the inspiration when you look at his other blog posts about what he has been able to overcome. It nice to find these types of references and stories about more then the trucks and hear about the personal side of things. So if you get a chance check out that Allpar site, if you are a Chrysler fan. And keep Dave Zatz in your thoughts and prayers with his battle.
