when i bought my 99 with the Infinity setup last year the LCD had exploded and there was no display. it was broken behind the faceplate plastic cover and the screws made it look like it was never apart.

i replaced it with an inexpensive kenwood unit with CD and removable face. works great and it has aux input for an MP3 player (or portable DVD audio).
i'd much rather have the aftermarket than another OEM just for the aux in.

Mine is the OEM AM/FM/Cassette/CD player from year 2000 and it still works like new. Been off road a lot. The nice thing is if you can find one on ebay or wherever, its only a 5 minute swap out.

I replaced my factory unit back in April. My CD player worked fine but it would not play homemade CD's off the computer. So I got a pioneer with a aux for ipod or mp3 player and xm or sirus. I have the factory CD player. PM me and I will ship it to you for the price of shipping if you are interested. -Jason
