2nd Gen hitch?

Will a 2nd Gen hitch ('94-'02) fit on my '93 D-250? I have a chance to get one from a '99. If it does not easily fit, does anyone know what alterations can be made to make it safe and functional? Thanks in advance, Patrick

This doesn't answer your question exactly,but i know the plow frames are different between the two generations. There must be a difference in the frames. I could go measure the frames on mine to see if there's a difference.
